lol, yeah I know all about them. One of my buddies is the worst man. I pretty well just hang back and let him crash, then race. :D

As far as the slowing down thing goes, I do that all the time for people.
I'd rather slow down and get racing side by side again, banging doors, sliding out around the corners. Some of the best races I ever had we finished pretty well last. What's the fun in running out front all alone?
I really don't care where I finish as long as I am laughing out loud...

XFire has voice too. It's actually not too bad of quality. You still have the text with any of that stuff (MSN etc..) which works fine.

I had thought maybe if we had a Thread called "Current GRID Games" or something like that where guys could post a current game. Then I realized that wouldn't work very well as the server ends up going to some completely different map by vote.

Yeah i have Skype. I set an account up for my mom so she could talk to my grandma. I am not much of a talker on the internet though. I'll go create an account now and let you know what it is. That reminds me that i have to install it on my Windows partition as well. Right now it is only on my OSX partition 'cause that is what i am normally on.

And that first race was embarrassing. ='(. I have gotten better though and am usually in the top 5 unless some idiot goes top speed into the first corner.

As I said in the thread "I've found that if I get the boys to wait until I just get it started (the server) and say "Hit Quick Match now!" 2-3 of the 5 will make it on right away. The rest end up on some other server". We lucked out.
But that only works if we are talking online if you see what I mean? If you are offline on some other server I have no way of tracking you to even begin to know where to look.

Using Skype for instance, I can say to you, I am on such and such a map etc and narrow it down. Excellent program btw!! Audio quality is the best I have ever heard. Plus you can transfer self extractor .exe files with no hassels. lol

But if the clients aren't using that, or something like XFire they are screwed.

I've been really busy lately and haven't been able to race hardly at all. I'm sure that I'm so out of practice that you might even pass me all on your own without me having to pull over and wait... j/k

Yeah man this game is a real blast.
That damn MP system really sucks though. I mean as far as the whole server list / finding and joining with friends thing.

I've seen you on a couple of servers but couldn't figure where the hell you were. lol
