as for the mohteam, barl, why aren't you in it? You know more about the technical side of mapping then anyone i know!

same for jv_map, i mean, come on he's the best mohaa scripter there is in my opinion!

DarkFalcon, that's the thing. They know they have to make up for things past. What better way to have many of the top members of the MOH community on the team. We are putting our names on the line and I know I would not, if I didn’t feel comfortable with what EA was doing.

I also understand as a paying customer you need a lot of proof, give them time, as they get closer to release we should have more info to share with the community. Also I think this is a big first step. I know GD, myself and others voiced our opinions to EA in the beginning and they welcomed our comments without getting insulted or offended, unlike other game developers I have recently worked with.

Also the MOHTeam is not only about modding, it's about game play, SP, MP server setup, server admining, patches, modding, and scripting. Basicly community support for the whole game.

BTW, I'm a member of the MOHTeam.

Well the reason why it has been kept secert was simply due to the fact that EA is sharing a lot of information on Moh:PA that is not to be released yet to the public. This is what we all agreed to before we joined:
we do not require to you to submit an NDA to be part of the MOHTeam. However, this is a private group and as such, all information shared, discussed and mentioned in this group must remain private and discussions about MOHTeam topics must remain exclusive to the MOHTeam forums. Information shared CAN NOT be discussed external to the group.
Matt Powers so nicely allowed one rule to be broken so that we could at least tell you guys that the team is active, alive, working, helping make Moh:PA a community friendly title. This was very important due to the overall attitude PA was getting based off of the AA, SH, and BT titles.

They are not making excuses for AA, SH, and BT. They know it was not handled the way we would have liked it to be. So along with the new title comes a new attitude from EA towards the community. This is very exciting times for Moh fans!!!

EALA has not "officially" said if we can say who is and who is not on the team at this time but like I said if they are a moh community leader you can pretty much guess they are on the team.

True, can you see what EA wants with the community? They include starting communities in their plans as well.
I hope you can respect us, we are no noobs to the community..

k nuff said, i won't keep nagging about it, i'll just wait and see like the rest of the normal people... just hoped to include some of my team in a MOHTeam someday...

We also spend allot of money/time to get our community going, over 2700 members been going strong for over 2 years... but none of my staff got word of a MOHTeam... I don't know if i'm supposed to be, but i'm just a bit dissapointed we were never contacted, especially when you say 'all' community-leaders are part of the team...

Dont think I said "all" community leaders. :winkers:

I figured there would be some negative comments to go along with the positive ones when we were allowed to announce the MOHTeam.

I did though hope that the positive ones would outweigh the nevative ones which it has so far.

The focus is not who is on the team. You have to trust me that the ones that are on it will represent the community very well. Lets focus on the bigger picture. EALA is listening to the community!!! Like I have said before, this is a great time for moh fans. Its time to rally and come back to one of the greatest ww2 fps series....the Moh series!!!

Agreed!

and i am very positive that it finally has come to this point and EA finally decided to listen, and i'm sure you guys are all up to the challenge!

don't take my personal dissapointment as a negative opinion towards the MOHTeam, most of the members have my deepest respect including you GD you know that!

i'm just thinking of my own community!

I'm guessing with all these posts about this, then this must be some sort of good thing.

To everyone who's on this team...

As a member of the MOHTeam as well, I reassure you that EA is really listening and changing for the better.
