Take-Two to EA: 'No Means No'
Take-Two Interactive makes it plain (again!) that the company is not interested in Electronic Arts' offer. There were suggestions recently that EA is determined to turn the whole thing into a hostile takeover. And while EA sees itself as "a white knight," Take-Two still hasn't agreed to the terms proposed by the industry giant.
Basically, this time Take-Two makes an official response, once again specifying that EA's offer is inadequate. This, of course, corresponds to T2's earlier statements that the bid considerably undervalues Take-Two's library of game franchises. How many times do these guys have to say no? (Until they say 'yes'. - 2Lions) Source: ActionTrip. __________________

lol
Quote; Strauss Zelnick, chairman of the board of Take-Two, said on behalf on the board that "Electronic Arts' offer continues to provide insufficient value and remains opportunistically timed to capture the value of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto IV launch at the expense of our stockholders." http://www.forbes.com/2008/03/26/ele...rtner=yahootix I guess EA doesn't get it. "No" twice. |
