Making a Gaming Demo on a laptop

Hey guys,

My pc jsut broke and im working on a new build.

but i was wondering is there any way that i can make a gaming demo using my laptop, without giving me much lag wen i play. The usual way to make a gaming demo is to use a TV card or something, but is there a way for a laptop

Cheers

Game Demos or in game demos? Most Demos (trials) of games do not include a demo (recording) feature.

For a usb tuner to work you need to either output your display to a vcr or directly into a different computer with the usb tuner. You will be limited to a resolution of approximately 640 x 480

What I would recommend doing is setting up xfire or the fraps demo and trying recording while playing your game. There are no cables to set up and it will cost far less, the only problem is that it will effect your frame rate.
