Valve surveys 1.7 million computer systems

Got Steam? Then theres a good chance you're one of the 1.7 million computers that were surveyed. Valve posted the results of the survey here. Some of the interesting bits: 81% of people are using Windows XP, only 9.5% of people have DirectX10 capable systems, 3.5% use dual monitors, PCIe is dominating AGP (figures), and 74% of people are still using standard 4:3 displays. Oh and in case you didn't know Intel and Nvidia are destroying their counterparts AMD and ATi. VE3D reports that the most common system is as follows.

• 2GB RAM and above
• Windows XP
• 250GB Total HDD Space
