3rd person view

After checking the cvars, you should be able to play in 3rd person.

This script allows you select and adjust the view for playing RTCW in
a 3rd person perspective. Instructions:
1: Extract and drop the wview.cfg file in the rtcw/MAIN folder.
2: Add the following line to the end of your AUTOEXEC.CFG file

3: Play the game and use the new bind keys listed below.

M=toggles between first and third person view.
O=Zoom your player out.

Put this pk3 in your main folder.

then start console and type
exec wthird.cfg

then in game press 'M' to toggle 3rd person view.
* note: 3rd person view is cheat protected.

then you can use 3rd person view.

Works sort of.

M does turn it on off.

O and P alter your distance from your normal player origin.

But your model doesn't draw

related cvars are:

cg_thirdPersonRange "40"

Scorpio, the model doesn't draw because there is no need for it. It's meant to be a single player fps so no one has to look at the model, possibly increases performance (?)

That isn't true.

In 1st person view theres no need for model (well maybe arms).

In 3rd person the camera is position behind the player, so you need to see yourself
