Ambient sounds

    To start with copy the sound folder from Common_client.zip to your \EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Objects directory

    Next while in the level editor right click in the 3d area and choose create ambient sound

    next give this object a name and press ok

    an object will appear

    Select the object and in the tweaker window click in the empty space beside filename

    When the dialog box shows up click on the + sign

    In the next dialog box use the dropdown menu to select bf2 a second time

    expand the sound folder and then the levelAmbients folder and choose one of the sounds from one of the subfolders then press ok

    press ok again

    This is an ambient sound so set the loopcount and stoptype to 0 also choose a MinDistance and a HalfVolumeDistance

    Thats it have fun goto the game and test it out , these sounds arn't very loud because they are ambient.
