    It went like crap!

When it was installing it installed a set of Physx drivers. Those drivers corrupted the ones that I already had and then my machine wouldn't even boot.

I made a seperate thread about it in here: http://www.modtheater.com/forum/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=38128

When I finally got things working again, by booting into Safe Mode and installing the newest Nvidia drivers, my machine fired right up.

But now, now the damn game won't start. It goes to the launching Lead and Gold splash screen and then crashes back to desktop.

I'll be submitting a Steam Support Ticket later today if I can get a few minutes. Work is crazy right now. :(

I still haven't got that game to work. I did some searching on the Steam Forums and it looks like they want me to install the Physx drivers that came with the game... riiight.
I'm sure it's a driver issue, but I don't have the time to be screwing around with that.

Plus everything else seems to work fine (BC2 runs smoother with the newest drivers or maybe their latest patch?) so I'm hard pressed to muck around and screw everything else up trying to get one game running.

Maybe on the Canada Day weekend I'll have some time.

    Back on Topic:

Did anyone take advantage of the CoD pack? Did you buy anything else?

Man they have some great deals on right now. What a time to be broke.. :(
