Sleezy, according to logfile your server is under permanent attac it seems with an average of 1000-2000 packets per second. You say 3 times a map you have lag which would be like ~ every 5 mins, I rechecked code but I cant see anything what would match this time pattern. Other thing is the tool is running nicely on win2008 64 bit server (mohaa though), so I have no idea why it shouldn't run as nicely on your server. Please download latest version and try again, see how it goes, if you have the same problems while running GsProtector send me please all you files (gsprotector files + qconsole.log) ------------- p.s. new version with sub-admin feature is coded, just need to do some testing maybe 1-3 days then release. Nice feature I think is that sub-admins can use rcon as if they have the rconpassword just with limited functionality , so they can use all existing tools and menus. (gameserver owner sets which commands are allowed)
OK when this new one is ready i will try the 3rd time. If you are referring to my ai tool running rcon as a "permanent attack" ai forces cvars every 20 seconds or so and the rcon inquiry is logged. It is most likely MY ip that you are seeing. Do you think the problem maybe AI-II being compatible with gsprotector? Please post the version number when this one you speak of is ready...

No, it doesn't interfere with AI or other Rcon tools, the GsProtector logfile shows a lot of banned packets

In this timespan of 60 seconds your server receives an average of ~1800 hits per second. Which could also mean that at a specific moment more can hit your server. Like I said GsProtector doesn't interfere with rcon or banning tools.
So this is why gsprotector lagged everyone out, because it was banning packets from ip's that it had banned??
no lol. Banned Packets are sended from IP's in the attacking IP's log. And I dont think that its GsProtector who is lagging players out, might be a coincidence with other unknown causes or you are the one who grabbed the buggy version (was also 3.6 when I remember correct, but I dont remember about the bug anymore). Again, there is nothing in the code which would cause that characteristic behaviour you described and your server is the only one with this behaviour.
i may have got the bad version. I am thinking, does the server box have to be restarted at the physical location after this installs? If so, could THAT be what happened here.?
MAN Iam really getting attacked right now... I we can get this thing working for me soon. This guy, (64.31.10.230:25565, and 64.31.10.228:25565 has been attacking me for a couple hours now.... I cant stop him. He is banned using the listip feature in davens fix but it doesn't stop him. Both ip and range are banned from the but my point here really is you may be right about the freaking constant attack omfg

OK today's version is on the server... Do i need the host to reboot the machine or is rebooting from my web control panel enough?
I don't have server box and rebooting server from control panel is enough no need to ask provider to restart it.
New version which is 3.8 beta is released now. The new version includes Sub Admin access. If you set in the ini file, your Sub Admins can use the Sub Admin password as if they have the rconpassword just with limited functionality, you set which commands are allowed. So your sub admins can use plain console or their prefered rcon tool like HLSW, scapp-host, existing ingame Menus or other tools. Please check the GsProtector_RconCommands.txt file for details I also improved the tool regarding performance a little, was allready fast though, and other little things I cannot remember at the moment. Download is available at www.scapp.net Please note its a beta.
Dear Friends here it is my NEW version of Admin & Sub Admin Tool for GsProtector. There is a Read me file in both versions use it to understand how to set up tool. Now you can give Sub admin tool to your sub admins and be sure that they will have only that controls which you setup in GsProtector. Also I add a STATUS Button in both versions.
About SubAdminsAllowedCommands, value for SubAdminsAllowedCommands can be (for example) 896? (when i want enable: set, gpbanip and gpunbanip) U say in GsProtector_RconCommands.txt: Possible values are from 1 to 767
I think it's the reason why he called it subadmin commands. Look if you give to sub admins all those commands than it's better to make them main admins thay will have all they need to control the server. If some sub admin make ban it's normal for me to inform main admins about that and they will decide what to do next like unban. Believe me I have a lot of problems with some of admins because they start kicking or baning without control. Now it will be different only kick nothing else. But also that is my opinion I don't know is that the reason why Doorman didn't put support for all sub commands.
OMG......i checking all commands like on off and finally my rcon not work:/ it say runt packet all time when i want restart server or something else (cmds not work). Now i cant join to my server because i not see it but it work (feel like it ban me:/), in banlist have not my IP. I do restart and reinstall and not fix. Hmmmm idk wtf. I Have win xp sp3, spearhead 2.15. EHHHHHHHHH I FIX IT ADD MY IP TO IMMUNE ONLY THIS CAN FIX.
