Im sorry I don't think you will be able to do that, you cant apply angles to triggers so it will not work like you want.

i used sorrids ladder script for the first time today, worked great on my pc....cept when i loaded the map to my server, the ladder angles changes and couldnt climb them. is this due to the map itself and location of the ladder?...

not admin pro, i think it has to do with the map. i made an elevator instead for now. Ill try the ladders on a different map to test.

Ah yeah you can't use that angle. It is only meant for y.

Oh wait the tree or the ladder was lean at ( 45 0 0 ) if ladder then yeah it wont work but if tree was lean into a straight up ladder then it should work.

Oh, yeah it will not work that way. Why not just angle a clip and run up the tree. I have a tree that has fallen on to the back of the church in Destroyed Village and clip there too. Just run right up it and end on the roof. Guess you are looking for a climbing effect though.

Sorrid, that's an amazing setup, thanks very much for sharing... I'd been looking everywhere for a way to add a ladder to a map for a while, and I'd had no luck till now.

I do have a few questions though, since I'm such a noobie when it comes to mods period. First off, when I tried your script, it sometimes alerted me with this message: "[LADDER SPAWN]ERROR: Missing Torso state 'USE_LADDER_SORRID' LadderSpawn is not installed correctly!", and I figured I'd missed something. Can you tell me how to fix that? (I installed the ladderspawn.scr in the 'Global' folder, and added the necessary text to the bottom of 'miketorso.st'.)

Also, I tried changing the textures in the ladderspawn.scr to match the building better, but the ladder always looks much brighter in color than the actual texture '.jpg'. E.g., dark wood looks beige or even yellowish, and nearly black metal looks more like a silverish blue. Is there a way to fix this so that the texture shows up as normal? Or even better ... Is there a way to somehow apply a static object's default texture to the ladder, like the one used for bunkerbench.tik?

    Thanks again man.
