So, I was a little bored and thought: "Hey, why won't I try to port Medal of Honor to UT3." Since I'm a programmer of two more projects for UT3, I want to test myself to see what I'm capable of by my own (of course, people that are interested in helping are welcome). I knew it was possible to open up the models in LightRay and export them together with animations to MAX and so on.

My aim is to recreate Medal of Honor: Allied Assault as a Total Conversion on UT3. It will be a full-featured port with all maps and models, which should feel like the real game (at least thats what I'm aiming for). Besides the regular stuff, I will also implement a fully customizable character system, proper anti-cheat and maybe bots later on. It even will support use of advanced mutators, so you can make serverside mods just like you did for the real game, only with at least 10 times more possibilities. Who knows what the future brings, at least I think it looks glorious. Check out the site here.

you should talk with the guys that were making MOH using the Crysis engine, i believe they have already converted every map to .3ds files, so that could save you some time and trouble. Great work otherwise.

Ahh southern France Great work. Always thought UT3 was a better place for a direct MOHAA recreation instead of crysis.

Thank you for the information, but I'm already capable of porting the maps how I want. As a side note, when "converting" a map to 3ds, you will actually combine all brushes into one big staticmesh, which is something I don't want, because you would have to split it all and AHHH! I'm already getting sick by just thinking of it :p

    Anyway... :beerbang:
