Well i got a bad file so i unistalled SH and AA. I tried to install AA but it sops half way through the set up and it says error then i HAVE to close it. Any help?
K here is info: Game loads to 46% this i wut it says: Componet: Sound Dialouge Files File Group: Sound Dialouge Files File: E:\data2.cab Error: Data Error (cyclic redudancy check)
Damn cycle redundancy check, once that happened to me, 15gb of music went invisible, but he was still taking up the space, i recovered the music, but i'd say 50% of them had that error. Could be an hdd error? do what echo said, might help.
How do I find it and get rid of it? or what keyword would I search? plz help Im going through withdrawls here. lol. I did a search for Mohaa on C drive and it brought up around 113 things!! how the hell do i figure out which one??!??
Its not the disc, a simple defrag on your harddrive will fix this problem. I had this problem with Star Wars: BattleFront, returned my first CD because I thought it was a bad CD...but the same error occured with the new one. So I did and defrag and everything worked fine. Find it in startup/accessories/system tools/disk defragment...
Ok, I did a defrag, everything works great. Now, SH its buggered. I try to join a game and it says a patch is available, I hit continue and it automatically launches a gamespy industries window. Patch says mohaas_20_to_211.exe i install, then i try to join a game and it STILL says there is a pacth avaiable. So thinking there were 2 patches out i click continue and its the same DAMN PATCH!! which obviously means the other isnt installing right! any help is appreciated!!
The two patchs are 2.11 and 2.15, go to this site and get them: http://www.otd-clan.org/index.php?module=dloadmisc They can be found among the other downloads.
Yea, going abit off topic here. I get that, everytime i load up the server list it says theres a update available but i am up to date on 2.15 so i dunno whats up with it.
