Activisions parent company, Vivendi, went on the record by stating that Treyarch has "done better than what the Infinity Ward studio could achieve a year ago." After Call of Duty: Black Ops shattered sales records, CEO Jean-Bernard Levy has the needed evidence to support his claim. He goes on to say that Infinity Ward has been restructured and will have its chance to better Treyarch's achievement, with its next installment of CoD, which is rumored to be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which is set to release in 2011. For those of you who may not know, Call of Duty was originally Infinity Ward's child, but later shared with Treyarch in its third installment.

Well that's easy to say when hype sold the title alone on the past success of the franchise. If it wasn't for the huge success of CoD, CoD2, CoD4 and MW2 building the franchise by IW, would Trey really have the success it did? Plus ... Trey is using the engine IW built off the old Q3 code.

I'm not taking anything away from Treyarch, but this is a BS statement and I'm not a IW fanboy in any regards. CoD3 was console only and regarded as one of the worst installments of the franchise. This was part of the reason people were so skeptical with Trey doing CoD:WaW.

It is a fact, treyarch always been better then infinity ward in my opinion, big red one was great!. Call of duty 3 aswell!, cod world at war insane!, and black ops also great! But i still think world at war is the best they made.
