Anyone else has feel like playing a console version ? ? ? ?

You should mention you need a CD key to play it..?

Ya! How the heck are you supposed to get a key? :suspect:

Ok, never mind, it's just takes them a few hours to give it I guess.

Ah, I didn't even know they were having a PC beta. Whats the level capped at?

The beta has been fun on the 360, but playing the same 3 maps over and over is getting boring.

I wonder if they fixed the glitch on Roundhouse...

What the F was I playing last night? Might as well call it a CoD4 mod ..... I don't see where it is worth the full price of admission. The weapons sound bbaadd, no balance, pistols seem overpowered with pinpoint accuracy, what weapon recoil?, what's with the weapon load outs and unlockable classes(this is WW2 .... right)? Only melee is a instakill knife (thanks consoles)? Grenade button (thanks again consoles).

Tanks in the map roundhouse seem out of place.

Sorry, but don't paint CoD4 with a WW2 themed brush and try to pass it off as a WW2 shooter.

MP gore/blood is an interesting touch with dismemberment from grenades and blood splotch on body where hit. Watching myself bayonetted (with blood spurt) in the killcam was pretty good though.

Modders would have to step up to make me enjoy this game.

You hit every point right on the head with my criticisms.

I don't mind all the extra stuff because many people enjoy it. My main concern is how much this can be customized to allow server Admins to tweak it to their individual likes. I'm not so keen about "ranking up", but as a server Admin I would like to be able to turn off all the nonsense I don't want. Does anyone know any cvar type list or any website where people are tearing down the beta looking at adjustable features?

If you want to see what type of admin support it has, look at CoD4. CoD5 is basically identical, so I'll assume they havn't changed anything with the server options.

Note they have added several different game types, the ability to add friends and join their game, server sided stats, additional physics (not sure if they end up in MP), vehicles in MP and fire.

Granted for some strange reason, I have not had a chance to play all week..... Hopefully I get some play time in this weekend before heading on the road again.

It does look crappy, I wasn't to excited about it. I'll try the beta to get away from oblivion for a little while though. I doubt I'll buy it.

It really looks like the same thing just WW2, they didn't change crap. I hope it doesn't sell good and they lose money..

Played last night. Forgot how much fun online play is when people are continually moaning about players cheating and having a bad ping rate :awcrap: Assuming there are more than three maps in the retail version of multiplayer.
